Hey you
I'm glad you found my site. You are most welcome.
My name is Belinda, and I'm a Finnish, soon-to-be-graduated designer textile maker.
I am studying the last year of fashion and textile education at ingmanedu and will graduate in 2024 as a designer textile manufacturer.
I like to do things with my hands, I like to come up with ideas for everything and my heart beats for black tones.
During my studies, I have become interested in weaving and textiles made on looms, So I've made a lot of different kinds of woven textiles.
I'm very fascinated by the idea of using old techniques to create modern textiles that also fit today's styles, yet still retain the techniques. The printed fabric is also interesting, and that's why I applied in the first place, but it's a little shadowed by the weave.
I'm definitely excited about everything different and I'm excited to try new things in world of textiles.
I like a bit of a challenge, though .
I hope you're able to navigate my site despite all the slang words in Finnish. Please enjoy my printed -and weaved textiles, some knots and all you find in my sites.
You can always send me a message and ask more.
" textiles are art"
Work experience
I have been worked many places in my life, such as a festival area builder, a cleaner, a day-care worker, a kitchen assistant, a leisure assistant, and sometimes in my youth I have worked in a carpentry workshop in the production of a product, as well as installing an electric fence on a highland cattle farm .
What I really wanted to do, became a timely question, so that's where we're at now.

Practical problems even make me a little bit excited and look for solutions and development ideas, if I don't know something, I look for the information/answer.
I also actively seek to develop my skills in sustainable development, particularly in the textile sector.
In the future, I would like to further my education, to develop myself and my professional skills.
I think that work teaches you, and every job you do, you always get something out of it.
